Inaugural Clean Power Asia conference & exhibition: a resounding success!
With 430 registered participants and over 20 countries represented Clean Power Asia provided a truly global platform to exchange information on the latest clean power industry initiatives and developments in the Asian power generation industry.
New clean power policy and regulatory updates, the latest pricing and feed-in tariff plans, project updates in solar, wind, hydro, geothermal and bioenergy, new financing approaches and innovative approaches in fossil power technologies were all issues that came under the spotlight. Presentations and debates were often heated and passionate with enthusiastic participation from the delegates.
The overall consensus among the participants who attended the event, was that the three day conference and exhibition had provided them with a vital insight into the latest clean energy developments in the region and beyond.

The first-day morning session that I attended was an eye-opener on what other countries are doing in the area of clean energy development and regulation.

I found the conference a very interesting one-stop platform to bridge investors and entrepreneurs together from various countries in Asia, and various renewable energy industries like wind, solar and hydro, etc. Hao Sun, Investment Officer, IFC Resident Mission, China
The inaugural conference provided a good opportunity for policy makers and investors from across the region to exchange views on clean energy development. Presentations were comprehensive and interesting, and discussion was of a high quality. Well done.
